Build a foundation for second-language Hebrew reading development through phonological awareness and vocabulary.
Foundations of Reading 2
Learn Hebrew letter sounds within phonological awareness and vocabulary instruction
Beginning Reading 1
Master decoding and encoding with the first five vowels, targeting automaticity on the word level and fluency in phrases.
Beginning Reading 2
Gain automaticity in multisyllabic word decoding and fluency in connected texts, incorporating all vowel sounds.
Developing Reading
Attain fluency in all תנ״ך and תפילה texts, while learning advanced decoding rules (e.g., שווא נע, פתח גנובה).
Contextual Reading
Apply skills to פסוקים and חומש, focusing on שורשים, תחיליות, and סופיות for comprehension.
